MEET THE TEAM
Hi I’m Sarah and I am a learning disability nurse as well as a support broker and a director at Kaleidoscope
I am married with 2 beautiful children Erin and Holly. Erin has some support needs and has an individual budget.
I am passionate about personalisation and empowering people to have choice and control over their support. I have worked with people who have additional support needs for over 30 years and have built up an extensive network of contacts. I am known as the queen of networking.
I have attended the National Brokerage Network training and am now an accredited support broker.
My passion and expertise is around supporting people whose behaviour can often be described as challenging. I am creative resourceful and believe that anything is possible with the right support
Accounts Manager and a director
Hi I am Charlotte Shaw, the Accounts Manager and a director at Kaleidoscope.
I have my accountancy qualifications, and my background is within Local Authority Finance. I have also spent several years as a Contract Manager within a Local Authority Learning Disability Team. This experience has helped me to see Brokerage as a sum of all it’s parts, and my main aim is to ensure individuals maximise their Individual Budgets to experience as much as possible, from Value for Money Services.
I am married and have four children, Tom, Gabriel, Harry and Evie Bluebell. I love to socialise, and I am known as the party organiser!
Hi I'm Eve and I manage all the pensions administration here at kaleidoscope. I'm originally from Yorkshire but I moved over to Lancashire to be nearer my family.
I have worked within Payroll teams for most of my working life managing large payrolls for blue chip companies.
In my spare time I love walking and knitting and being with my grandchildren.
Hi I’m Janice.
I am married with two grown up boys. I previously worked for a Local Authority Children with Disabilities Service for 16 years where I undertook a Project Lead role in devleoping meaningful short breaks for children with disabilities such as wheels for All, Drama and Youth Groups, Playschemes etc. I also completed the All Together Better training course with parents and professionals sharing knowledge, learning and person centered planning.
I supported families through individualised budgets which I feel very passionate about. In my role of support broker I feel I can use my previous experience and knowledge to help individuals find the care and support which they choose to live their own lives and remain at the centre of any planning of support in a way which they control.
My name is Karen and I am married to a very patient man and 2 wonderfully crazy kids. I joined Kaleidoscope in May 2018 as Office Manager. Prior to this I was a freelance fitness instructor working at gyms across north and south Manchester teaching fitness classes ranging from Body Attack/Spin to the less strenuous classes such as Aqua Aerobics /Pilates – but old age and injuries got the better of me and a desk job beckoned - so I partially retired and took up a role of Group Fitness Manager at the Village Hotel Bury, then a full time position came up at an electrical wholesaler for accounts/admin in Trafford Park where I stayed for over 4yrs working with a team of 12 men – so now working with all ladies at Kaleidoscope is a breath of fresh air – literally !!
I’d love to say I have stayed fit and healthy since my “retirement” from the fitness injury but I’d be fibbing having hardly set foot in a gym for the last 4yrs but I’ll be starting again soon – promise !!
I love reading suspense novels and music plays a massive part but my sports mad son keeps me busy as his own personal taxi service.
Hi I’m Sharon. I have been married 35 years and have two grown up children and two grandchildren. I worked as an Admin Assistant for Bury Council for 21 years in Adult Care before joining Kaleidoscope. I started at the Seedfield Centre working on the reception desk for BADDAC, before joining the Disabilities Team. I then moved on as an Admin Assistant for the Social Workers, Social Care Officers and Disability Officers, before the Council underwent a reconfiguration where I moved to Whittaker St in Radcliffe to work with the Social Workers in the VAT Team, and then the Locality Teams 1, 2 , 3, Disability Team and Staying Well Team.
Within the Kaleidoscope Team I process the invoices and undertake some general admin.
I’m Georgina and I joined Kaleidoscope in May 2018 as a Payroll Officer. I have worked in payroll for 6 years, having previously worked in both Finance and HR. I am CIPP qualified, having completed my Advanced Practitioner in Payroll earlier this year. I have previously worked in the private sector, processing large monthly payrolls, including dealing with all statutory payments and auto enrollment legislation.
I’ve been married for nearly 11 years and have 2 daughters aged 10 and 17.
